"Grand Councilwoman: A quiet capture would require an understanding of 626 that we do not possess! Who then, Mr. Pleakley, would *you* send for his extraction?
Pleakley: [thinks for a moment] Does he have a brother?
[Councilwoman rolls her eyes]
Pleakley: Close relative, perhaps?
[Later, in the prison where Jumba is kept]
Pleakley: [nervously] Friendly cousin? Neighbor with a beard?"
THOSE JERKS MADE WENDY CRY >:C
aww, cheer up, Pleakley!!
watching lilo and stitch series, Pleakley almost marries Jumba….and everyone was ok with it…y cant we as Americans be happy for same sex marriages….This is y I LOVE Lilo and Stitch!!!!
I really identified with Lilo when Lilo and Stitch first came out (as a young kid who was weird or outcast). Here’s her being like a young me, being bored while her hair is being done by a grown up.
Just felt nostalgic today. There were other aliens in my life, once upon a time. kindler, gentler aliens. Ish.
This is absolutely precious! What a wonderful piece, love it! (love the little detail of the bobby pin in Pleakely’s mouth!) :)
WAIT A MINUTE
…Were Jumba and Pleakley’s first outfit as a couple based on Danny Husk and his wife.
Pleakley’s wig and Jumba’s stache are a very convenient coincidence if not.
Well, it really is no secret that Pleakley is based off of Kevin’s many roles from ‘Kids in the Hall’ (as the co-director was a big fan of KITH)! I don’t know if Pleakley’s design in that first scene is based off of one of Kevin’s characters in particular, but here is my guess (at least it explains the red wig anyway!) :)
